Thanks to the boys at Techcrunch for sharing this cool new site. Sketchcast is a free (like all great Web 2.0 sites!) site that allows users to create illustrations using their mouse or a graphics pen/tablet and record narration, if desired. The videos are then published, where they can be shared with other users, or embedded into a blog, wiki, etc. as seen here. Very nice idea, and I can see some great applications for the classroom, such as an easy means of creating/sharing tutorials (Imagine a video demonstration of long division, for example.).
